The Imperial Park Sample Room takes full advantage of its prime location by incorporating floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the design. This allows residents to immerse themselves in the beauty of the river scene, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the breathtaking surroundings. Kris Lin, the mastermind behind this project, explains, "We used a large number of floor-to-ceiling windows to make the most of the beautiful river scene in the design scheme. The sofa in the living room is strategically positioned to appreciate the river view, highlighting the building's greatest advantage."
What sets the Imperial Park Sample Room apart is not only its exceptional location but also the complete range of living facilities available nearby. Residents can enjoy a leisurely lifestyle, including access to a yacht marina. Priced at RMB 150,000/m2, this residential area belongs to the upscale district of Shenzhen. The design advocates for interactive spaces that foster a sense of connection, achieved through the extensive use of glass windows, creating a serene, comfortable, and peaceful aesthetic.
In terms of materials and furnishings, the Imperial Park Sample Room features a selection of international first-line brand products. From Minotti's sofas to Poggenpohl furniture cabinets, every detail has been carefully curated to exude luxury and sophistication. The design incorporates elements of costly style while introducing new elements and textures, such as silk, decorous surfaces, metallic accents, and imported cowhide, to create an atmosphere of opulence and nobility.
The restaurant underwent a major transformation, with the addition of a Western-style kitchen breakfast table that adds a symmetrical three-dimensional feel to the space. The 2.8m long breakfast table, complemented by luxurious surroundings, becomes a focal point that highlights the overall sense of luxury. The master bedroom, measuring 7.5 meters long and 5.3 meters wide, offers an unparalleled view of Shenzhen Bay, making it the ultimate choice for luxury living in the area.
Optimizing the lifestyle of the occupants was a key consideration in the design of the Imperial Park Sample Room. The floor-to-ceiling glass in the public areas of the living room and dining room allows residents to enjoy the stunning sea view of Shenzhen Bay. Even the master bedroom and the main bathtub are oriented towards the sea, providing a serene and relaxing experience. As Kris Lin explains, "The design integrates the features of the project into the space design, allowing residents to fully appreciate the beauty of the sea view."
The Imperial Park Sample Room was completed in 2018 in Chengdu, China. The design reflects extensive research and attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the space is meticulously crafted to create a unique and exceptional living experience.
This exceptional design has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2019. The award acknowledges the outstanding creativity and resourcefulness of the Imperial Park Sample Room, which incorporates best practices in art, science, design, and technology. This design not only exhibits strong technical and creative skills but also contributes to improving the quality of life, making the world a better place.
